Why Eclectic Owls?

I just want to let you know specifically my reasoning for naming this blog as I did. You may ask, "why call it eclectic owls?" Do you know the definition of eclectic? It's okay if you don't, and if you do great! Eclectic means, noting or pertaining to works of decoration that derive from a of style or fashion. I chose the word eclectic because I didn't want to choose any specific type of style. I chose an owl as my emblem, because they are unique and I wanted my blog to be noted for it's uniqueness and creativity.

Today, I would like to share with you a website that is in my top ten favorites. It is http://www.etsy.com/. Etsy is a website a lot like ebay. It is great for jumpstarting a business or to just shop online. It is by far one of the most amazing websites, because unlike ebay, it is jam packed with amazing products from all kinds of artists. When most people think of art they think of paintings, drawings, and pottery, but this website has all kinds of varieties of products. Anywhere from clothing, bedspreads, to jewelry they have it! The other great feature is that everything is handmade. Many young artists go to this website to start building a business, get there work out there for people to see and buy. If you looking for unique, special, and one-of-a-kind gifts or even accessories and clothing for yourself Etsy is the place to look.
